Pudu Robotics Raises $50M and Pivots to Industrial AMR Market in 2026

Pudu Robotics built its early reputation on food-delivery and hospitality robots common in restaurants worldwide. A new funding round is being directed instead toward industrial autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), a considerably larger and more competitive market spanning manufacturing and logistics.

The pivot reflects a pattern seen across the robotics industry: hardware and navigation stacks built for one vertical often transfer more easily than expected into adjacent ones, and industrial AMRs represent a bigger addressable market than consumer-facing service robots.

Whether Pudu can compete with established industrial AMR vendors will depend less on the hardware itself than on integration support — the services and software layer that gets a robot fleet actually working inside a customer's warehouse.
